Information We Receive
Search terms entered into a sponsored search box pass to the third-party provider that operates it. We may receive information a visitor voluntarily sends in a contact message, including a name, email address, and message text. Servers and service providers may automatically log technical details such as IP address, browser type, device, referring page, pages viewed, and approximate time of access. Cookies or similar tools may remember preferences, measure traffic, support advertising, and help the site function.
How Data Is Used
Collected information may be used to operate and secure the site, answer messages, understand page use, diagnose faults, improve content, limit abuse, and support analytics or advertising. Search queries are handled under the search provider's own policies. We do not use a query to create an official Richmond County record.
Cookies and Measurement
Analytics and advertising services may place cookies or use similar identifiers. Browser controls can block or delete cookies, though some features may work less well. A visitor may also use device or provider controls for available ad choices.
Who May Receive Data
Information may be shared with search partners, hosting and security vendors, analytics services, and advertising networks as needed for their services. It may also be disclosed to law enforcement or another authority when a valid legal order requires it, or when necessary to protect rights, safety, and site security. We do not promise that outside providers follow identical practices.
Links to Other Sites
Official sheriff, court, GDC, parole, BOP, ICE, and other external links have their own privacy terms. This notice does not govern those sites. Review an outside site's policy before submitting personal details.
Security and Retention
Reasonable safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. Information may be kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes, legal duties, dispute handling, and security. Absolute protection cannot be guaranteed.
Visitors Under Eighteen
This site is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly seek personal information from minors. A parent or guardian who believes a minor submitted information may use the contact page to request review.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on applicable law, a visitor may ask to access, correct, or delete information they submitted, or object to certain processing. Requests can be made through Contact Us. Identity verification or legal limits may apply. Georgia public records held by government agencies are governed separately, including by the Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. sections 50-18-70 through 50-18-74.
Changes to This Notice
This notice may be revised as site practices, providers, or legal requirements change. A revised version takes effect when posted.
